Given the staggeringly widespread use of this melody in prayer around the world, the logical next step was a choral arrangement – and who better than Joshua Jacobson to bring it to the world at large? While using this on Friday night and bring Shabbat to a whole new level is a sheer delight, it’s lively enough to open or close a concert as well.
