Robert Applebaum: Y’did Nefesh (SATB)

There’s fantastic use of movement and compound meters in this piece that works both in the synagogue and on the concert stage; the musical development keeps listeners engaged from start to finish. This piece sounds complex, but is surprisingly intermediate in difficulty.
